My first attempt at Freezer paper painting

I finally decided to take the plunge after my friend showed me how easy it was to do, thanks Leann :) So Here it is in all it's glory I am sorry there are a ton of pictures on this one, but when it's your own kiddo you can't help it, so bare with me.

I love for my boy clothes to look more trendy  rather than cutesy, and I think that is hard to pull off sometimes. My awesome friend Leann had this picture of the Aquabats a music group from the 90's and I fell in love with it immediately, I Stenciled that baby on and then free handed the lightning bolts and used a plate to trace out the giant circle, I suck at free handing a circle. And then did the same   thing on the back of the shirt. More circles and lightening bolts.

I decided to get really creative and use embroidery floss on the lightening bolt and at the top of the shoulders to give it that extra texture and trendiness I love.

I also just wanted to take a moment to give my victory speech and add that I am in love with a product that takes any acrylic paint and makes it into fabric paint like magic, it is amazing!!!!!!!! It is called Textile Medium from Delta Ceramcoat, It is somewhat hard to find as it wasn't in the paint section, and even the fabric paint section wanted to keep it hidden probably due to all it's incredible magic powers, I finally found it hiding in a lower shelf all by itself conceled. It was definitely worth the hunt.
